Insurance
I am an in-network provider for Columbia University’s Student Health Insurance Plan and The New School’s Student Health Insurance Plan.
For all other insurances, I am an out-of-network provider. For patients with out of network benefits, you can receive a substantial reimbursement for treatment, depending on the insurance company. I provide all the documentation you will need to file these claims on a monthly basis.
You can also call your insurance company to find out what your out-of -network coverage is for mental/behavior health services. Some helpful questions to ask are:
Do I have out-of-network coverage for outpatient mental/behavioral health services?
What is my deductible and have I met it yet?
What percentage of an out-of-network psychologist’s fee is reimbursed? Is there a maximum covered amount per session?
Is a primary care physician referral required before I can be seen in psychotherapy?
How do I file a claim?
**In accordance with the No Surprises Act which passed in Jan of 2022, please refer to this document for more information on your rights and billing.
Fees
My fee for a 45 minute individual session is $300.
While I have a set fee, there are many factors that can be taken into consideration in setting the final fee on a case by case basis. When possible, I am able to provide a reduced fee. Please contact me to discuss.
Cancellation Policy
If you are not able to make your session, I ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you will be charged the full rate of the session.
